No fake profiles as some sites do
To make the site look larger than it is, many sites either create fake profiles or leave members up even when their last visit was more than a year ago. We certainly don't engage in the former and we carry out 'last visit' checks on a regular basis. Profiles not visited for more than 3 months are culled. This means that the people you're looking at are real and have been on the site recently.

Thorough vetting of profiles
We vet all the profiles on the site. Though we're human and can make mistakes, our checkers are fairly experienced and have seen every trick in the book so they don't usually miss much. Some scammers will inevitably get through and this is where our second line of defence comes in - you the member. The more such people are reported to us the better and safer the site becomes.

Keeping your information private
The most important bit of personal information that we hold about you is your email address. This is never divulged to another member nor is it sold on to a third party. The only people who ever see it are the staff in Admin.

Helpful support staff
We are a small but committed company and we firmly do believe that the customer comes first. We respond to emails seven days a week within a couple of hours and, if the matter is serious, then we're happy to call you and talk it through if you give us a number and convenient time to call.
